The SAATI LTS 8012 HD is the latest model in the SAATI LTS Series of CtS exposure machines. SAATI LTS machines use laser diodes to directly image and expose stencils simultaneously.
Both the SAATI LTS 8012 HD itself and its software have been transformed from top to bottom, and it is capable of supporting the highest precision screen printing where tight tolerance is absolutely critical.
Features like dual encoders, individual registration & locking in multi-frame mode, and structural enhancements from automated upper and lower carriage down to the leveling posts have been combined with powerful artwork refining utilities that can be applied even to previously ripped images. The result is the tightest registration possible and the truest replication of digital art available.
Designed with user-friendliness in mind, the Neolt XY Cutter caters to both novices and professionals. Its intuitive touchscreen interface simplifies operation and allows precise control over the cutting process. It offers two main programs for optimizing production: an automatic mode for setting the size and quantity of copies, and a mark reading mode for automated cutting by mark detection. Integrated video tutorials and self-help videos offer guidance at every step.
Agfa continues to fine-tune and expand our Onset ink set to meet the ever-changing demands of high-volume print production. Recently, we added white ink to the newly introduced Onset 560 CMYK general-purpose ink set. Agfa’s patented white ink system helps customers boost white-ink job productivity by 40%.
Agfa’s Onset 560 ink sets offer a superior ROI compared to any competitive ink for the Onset presses. Our patented ‘Thin Ink‘ technology not only delivers the look and feel of an offset sheet but also allows for double-digit ink savings compared to any non-Agfa Onset inks: up to 22% lower ink consumption in Express satin mode and up to 7.4% less ink in Standard gloss mode; depending on image, substrate, and print mode.
Agfa’s cutting-edge dispersion method and processes produce pigment dispersions of exceptional quality with a very fine and narrow particle size distribution. This results in outstanding color strength and allows for a minimal ink laydown. It's also a key factor in the long shelf life of our inks.
The Onset 560 inks also provide significant quality and productivity enhancements, including better dot gain control at lower curing power, sharper drop edges, and improved image detail rendering. High-quality print modes provide a more accurate dot placement and screening method, with improved resolution and enhanced smoothness of solid colors.
The Onset 560 UV ink sets stand out through their explosive color strength and a gamut larger than the ISO-coated standard. In gloss mode, they deliver exceptional color quality that expands the color gamut of your UV printer to include previously out-of-reach colors. This was previously only achieved with solvent inkjet systems on glossy substrates. Users can now easily match challenging colors like Pantone 485C spot color on standard matte paper, and greens and blues get a boost thanks to the ink’s large color gamut. This remarkable accomplishment is achieved with minimal impact on throughput at 9,976 ft2/h. The Onset's single array print head concept allows it to work in bi-directional write mode to produce a glossy output. The typical multi-pass UV printer would ideally need to be run in unidirectional write mode to get a glossy look, which is detrimental to the printer's throughput. Refer to the attached gamut map.
Since its launch, the Onset Grizzly has been pushing the boundaries of what is possible in print. This extremely high-speed page-wide flatbed inkjet printer, running on new Agfa inks and driven by Agfa’s Asanti workflow software, is lowering the cost of print manufacturing and enhancing quality with new high-quality print modes and Agfa’s thin ink technology. The Onset Grizzly X3HS is capable of 24/7 printing on a wide variety of substrates at production speeds of up to 15,000 ft²/h. Its impressive uptime is due to its 30-second job setup using robotics.
Agfa has expanded the Onset Grizzly's full automation capability by adding a new Autoloader. Debuting at Printing United 2024, the Autoloader offers full automation when combined with a single unload robot. This fully automated system is designed for high-volume operations in the Display, POP, and Sign Markets.
This new Onset Grizzly Autoloader, with its integrated scissor lift, collects, feeds, and aligns the substrate with utmost precision. The substrate is then automatically transferred by the robot onto the vacuum table. After printing, the robot removes the substrate from the vacuum table onto a single stack, an inspection station, a cutting table, or stacks on a conveyor belt. The system supports the printing of 1, 2, 3, or 4 sheets (left or right hand justified), manual double-sided printing, and allows manual operation for short-run jobs if necessary. This combination allows for high-volume printing onto a variety of media types and sizes commonly used within the Display, POP, and Sign markets. The Autoloader automates the manual feeding of substrates into the press, which reduces labor costs, resulting in a continuous feed and print environment, increasing productivity and efficiency.
The Autoloader supports a minimum sheet size of 23.6” (w) x 31.5” (L) and a maximum of 126” (w) x 63” (L), with a sheet thickness of 0.1mm—18mm. Print registration is +/—0.5mm sheet to sheet and +/—1mm front to back.
Siser® renews its commitment to sustainability with PureHT™!
